This step can look a little different depending on what kind of services you're interested in pursuing, but generally it implies taking a look at where your business is at right now. This can take the form of putting out a waitlist and starting to prove that there’s accessible demand for the solution you’re envisioning or implementing an analytics software to see how your business is currently acquiring customers. All of which should be done before pursuing design, development, or new marketing channels. However, if you would like to jump straight into development or marketing this would also be where we start the scoping and design process.
Here is where we design, develop, and prepare your product for launch. It all starts with the designs, building frontend first and then moving towards your feature sets. Piece by piece, each week you’ll have the chance to see your product come to life before your very eyes during our weekly standup. As our engineering team builds out your product, our marketing team will be working side by side with you to prepare for launch. Whether it’s building up an initial contact list from posts on different social forums, preparing email accounts for outbound outreach, or building up a content library, this part is VERY important! Most forget that a product only becomes a business once it generates money and we really like to build BUSINESSES over here!
Congrats on making it to the launch stage, now the fun really begins! We’d start by leveraging all the pre-marketing we did during the development phase to get your initial customer base onboarded smoothly. During the launch phase it’s also typical for us to provide you with an automated marketing channel or two to set up meetings for you. The development team would continue to provide ongoing engineering support as you start to onboard users and they provide you with feedback on the product. At this point it’s important to note that business is very scientific by nature. You need to make informed guesses on what will work best for your specific business based on what resources are available to you. As such once we reach this point if the client would like continued support we would begin taking a step back to gain a new perspective. This looks like re-assessing a month or so after launch to see where we can grow faster, why we aren’t growing fast enough, or whether we are solving the right problem in the right way. The result of this is continually looking at the company with fresh eyes every few months to determine how to steer the ship in a direction you as the business owner are happy with!
